Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 30, 2026

Short version: hudayUpload runs entirely on your own computer. We do not operate servers, do not collect analytics, and do not store or transmit your data anywhere other than to Epic Games and ballchasing.com on your explicit behalf.

1. What hudayUpload is

hudayUpload is a free, open-source desktop application for Windows that automatically uploads your Rocket League replay files to ballchasing.com after each match, using your Epic Games account to retrieve the replay.

2. Data stored on your device

All configuration is saved locally in a JSON file on your computer. This file may contain:

Your Epic Games refresh token (used to re-authenticate without re-logging in each time)
Your Epic Games account ID and display name
Your ballchasing.com API token
A list of replay GUIDs that have already been uploaded (to avoid duplicates)
App preferences (stats API port, auto-upload toggle, replay visibility, etc.)

This file is stored only on your machine and is never sent to us or any third party other than the services described below.

3. Third-party services we interact with

Epic Games / Epic Online Services
When you connect your account, hudayUpload sends your Epic authorization token to Epic's authentication servers to obtain a session token. Your credentials are sent directly to Epic and are not routed through any server we control. See Epic Games Privacy Policy.

PsyNet (Psyonix / Rocket League)
hudayUpload connects to Rocket League's PsyNet API to retrieve your recent match history and the download URL for your latest replay file. This uses the same authentication token obtained from Epic. See Psyonix Privacy Policy.

ballchasing.com
Replay files and your API token are sent directly to ballchasing.com's upload API. We do not proxy or inspect the replay data. See ballchasing.com Privacy Policy.

4. Data we do not collect

We do not operate any backend server or database
We do not collect crash reports, analytics, or usage telemetry
We do not collect your IP address
We do not use cookies or tracking technologies
We do not sell, share, or monetize any data

5. Network access

hudayUpload makes outbound HTTPS connections only to:

account-public-service-prod03.ol.epicgames.com – Epic OAuth
api.epicgames.dev – Epic Online Services token exchange
api.rlpp.psynet.gg – PsyNet match history (HTTP + WebSocket)
ballchasing.com – replay upload and token verification
The replay download URL provided by PsyNet (varies)

No other outbound connections are made.

6. Your rights and control

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control at all times:

You can disconnect your Epic account at any time from the Settings dialog — this deletes the stored tokens
You can delete the local config file to remove all saved data
You can revoke hudayUpload's access to your Epic account at any time via epicgames.com/account/connections
You can revoke your ballchasing API token from your ballchasing.com account settings

7. Children's privacy

hudayUpload is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can help you remove it from any connected third-party services.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the application after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
